Welcome to The Hypnosis Center

Our subconscious affects our behavior and emotions without us being consciously aware of its impact.

The subconscious is a level of awareness just beneath that of the conscious. In the conscious state of mind there is a present momentary cognitive awareness of one's immediate experiences.

By contrast, the subconscious is a present state of unawareness so the content that is outside of our immediate conscious knowledge can be brought into cognitive awareness. In other words, the subconscious refers to experiences which we are not presently perceiving but which we can gain access to by focusing our attention.

Another important aspect of the subconscious is that it affects our behavior, often times, without us being consciously aware its immediate impact

I have encountered countless numbers of clients who have said things such as, "I am feeling sad, and I don't know why." In most cases, we can access the source of their sadness by focusing attention on the emotion itself. However, until we do access the source it is part of our subconscious mental state.
